Management

The management of the partners, Heiner Franssen (Düsseldorf) and Greg Jones (Dallas), join their forces since more than 25 years.

Heiner Franssen has roughly 30 years of experience in all facets of the real estate business, including acquisitions, project development, financing, asset and portfolio management.

Since 2003 he is exclusively working with and has initiated the foundation of LIC Asset Management GmbH as Managing Partner. Heiner’s focus has been on introducing German investors to the U.S. real estate market and advising and supporting them in relation to their U.S. real estate activities.

Previous engagements include 3 years with a Cologne-based firm of architects and structural planners, followed by 9 years in Berlin with the Bankgesellschaft Berlin Group where he headed the international real estate activities. The volume of investments supervised in Germany totaled € 500 million and internationally approx. € 1 billion.

Heiner holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons.) from Sunderland University, U.K.

With roughly 30 years of experience in the U.S. real estate market, Mr. Jones has completed in excess of $3.5 billion of multifamily, office and retail acquisition and development transactions.

Mr. Jones began his real estate career in 1991 with Trammell Crow Company and later joined Lincoln Property Company, Phoenix Property Company and LIC Asset Management GmbH serving various roles in finance, acquisitions and development including Managing Partner.

Additionally, Mr. Jones helped form a merchant build multifamily company in 2012 and served as a Managing Partner in that organization.

In 2020 he joined Civicap Partners in Dallas as Investment Partner.

Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Baylor University, Texas.
